The recipe called for fresh peaches by I used some frozen peaches I had in my freezer already. It's not peach season in Wisconsin right now. So I was trying to figure out what to bake next. My pintertest board is organized in different types of desserts for me to make so I asked my sister what she was feeling. Of course she said cobbler. Not quite cobbler season bit I can do it. Then I asked her what kind and she peach. Which made me nervous because we only had canned or frozen peaches. I obviously went with the frozen peaches I just had to hope the amount of moisture that was added because of the freezer was okay. It worked just fine and was very delicious. My sister ended up helping me make the cobbler and I believe she is very proud of our creation as am I. There is a lot of sugar in this recipe but I dealt with the over sweetness. Instead of using my homemade ice cream to put on top I used whipped cream because I didn't have any cream to make the ice cream with. Over all very delicious though.
