I know there are good aspects of this book, but the bad have overpowered the good for me. Sorry to the fans.
First off this book is just so unrealistic and not in a good way. The author made the police officers very stupid. They don't check the security cameras, they don't interview the teacher as a suspect, they immediately go to the students (the students that tried to save Simon) to interview as suspects.
Second, this book could be so much shorter. You know when a teacher makes you write a like 100 page essay and you just repeat the same thing over and over again. That is how Karen M. McManus wrote this book.
This book is also really similar to 13 Reasons Why, also not a very good book.
But, on the good side. I read a mystery book! I didn't like it but I read it! This book also is written in different perspectives. So keep that in mind.
