I used Josies Best Gluten Free Muffins and more mix for this recipe. The recipe can be found really easily found on their website.
These cookies are really easy to make and taste great fresh out of the oven. As you can see from the picture the cookies spread a lot in the oven so only put about six dough balls on the baking sheet. After they cool off they taste salty, the maple flavor isn't really there much to begin with but after there cooled there is no maple flavor at all. Fresh out of the oven it really just seemed like a sugar cookie then when cooled a salt cookie. Considering there are two sweeteners sugar and maple syrup in this recipe it should be sweet not savory, right??
There are only nine simple ingredients and five easy steps. It only takes about thirty minutes to make, but I am not really sure if this simplicity is worth it.
